Submission of full-length works of fiction
Bookmite Press is open for submission of full-length novels in the following genres:
- Fantasy
- Science fiction
- Speculative fiction
We’re looking for diverse voices and stories. New authors are welcome to submit samples of their works. We respond to all queries, but we don’t have time to give critiques of your work. You’ll hear from us within 14 days of submission.
We believe that creative minds should be encouraged to express their ideas, and we take a mentoring role in our publisher-author relationships. We do not pay advances. Instead, we offer time-limited contracts, a fair split of royalties, pay for all up-front expenses associated with publishing your work, develop and implement a marketing plan for your niche, pay for publisher-initiated marketing and review efforts, and offer author training and assistance to help you build your audience and do your part in marketing your work.

Submission to Bookmite Bytes imprint – serial fiction
Our imprint, Bookmite Bytes, is open to submissions. We’re looking for serial stories–particularly serials with episodes that are novella-length (30,000+ words)–in the following genres:
- Fantasy
- Science fiction
- Speculative fiction
- Mystery/Thrillers
- Paranormal/Horror
